Why should I join?
Our club is a great place to learn about various optometry career paths. Many of our speakers who lead unconventional pathways have or had experience in more than one mode of practice and share what it's like. By being an active member, you'll have access to events and networking opportunities with our guest speakers, raffles, and a passionate and curious community!
Do I have to be a member to attend meetings?
No. Our meetings are open to all UC Berkeley School of Optometry students. However, if you wish to enter raffles or exclusive networking opportunities, you must be an active paying member.
What if I'm not a UCBSO student?
Currently, membership is only open to registered students of UC Berkeley School of Optometry. We are exploring options to hold 1-2 webinars a year, open to all students.
Is membership a one-time payment or every year?
Membership fees are paid every year you wish to utilize membership benefits.
What if I don't have Venmo?
Currently, we are exploring alternative payment methods. In the meantime, please contact our treasurer, Demi, so we can coordinate the best payment method possible for you.
